The year with update automatically, so no need to worry about that. If you still want to override the first portion of the copyright, you can locate that in footer.php on line 122.

How do I swap out the copyright line? I went to footer and inserted what I want the copyright line to read and it added what I wanted but did not change what was already there. So now the copyright line reads:

©2016 XXXXXXXXXXXXXX. ©2017 YYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. All Rights Reserved.

All I want to keep is the second half (2017) but I can't figure out how to get rid of the first half (2016).
