Hello,

I just tested my contact page and this is what comes up:

Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Delimiter must not be alphanumeric or backslash in /home1/chuvan/public_html/azevedophotography.com/wp-content/themes/wpzoom/send.php on line 43.

It's repeated 18 times.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Hi there,

To be honest, anything past my above suggestions is a bit beyond my knowledge. I do know that this has something to do with your particular hosting configuration. While I don't see any errors or anything, other users that do have resolved this with my previous edits.

At this point, I really don't have many other suggestions beyond contacting your hosting provider to see if they have any idea why this function is being strict with you.

Sorry I can't be more help here, but unfortunately I'm a front-end developer without a lot of knowledge about PHP functions like this.

Let me know if you host has any insight.

My site here: http://www.sprocketdb.com/contact/ is also having the same error:

I tried both your posts above Chris with solutions, but my errors stay consistent.

Any ideas?

Hi there,

Unfortunately that doesn't appear to be related to the issue you're having (as best as I can tell).

One thing to try is installing a contact form plugin to see if that works. I recommend "Contact Form 7".

If that works, you can just forgo the built-in contact form and use the plugin instead.

replaced with the new code line I get this (the first warning is repeated 19 times):

Try replacing following on line 43...

if((preg_match($suspect, $lowmsg)) || (preg_match($suspect, strtolower($_POST['name']))) || (preg_match($suspect, strtolower($_POST['email']))))

...with this...

if((preg_match($suspect, strtolower($_POST['message']))) || (preg_match($suspect, strtolower($_POST['name']))) || (preg_match($suspect, strtolower($_POST['email']))))

I tried replacing line 43 with the one you provided above but got the following message:
The following fields are required.

Name
Email
Message
Please use your browser's back button to complete the form.

All the fields were filled before I tried to send the email & the email still goes through.

This did the trick it now redirects to the confirmation page properly and i am receiving emails.
