I would target the home page menu style with the body.home prefix. Like this...

body.home #menu-control {...}

Great template, first off. I'm having a customization problem you might be able to help with.

- Since my backgrounds images are white, I changed the hamburger menu to #000. That looks great on the front page, but on the other posts and pages with the dark overlay (I like the dark overlay), the hamburger menu isn't too visible being black on dark gray. Is there a conditional line I can add somewhere that says 'if the page is 'home' then use a dark icon'? That way, it can be white everywhere but the home page.
