Sam, I had this same problem. I don't know if what I did will work for you, but I posted how I got it resolved on another thread, Settin Up Political Theme thread. You might want to try what I did, esp. if you have JOOMLA on your hosting site. Its conflicting for some reason with either wordpress or this theme. But the theme is working so far now, for me. Best of luck!!

Hi, I purchased your WordPress Politico theme and installed it for a political agency I volunteer for. Did not notice the Logo detail until after the site fell down (um...could you add that in the page that you send with it...with a big note to make sure you click the file URL?). The site went up to over 7,000 compute cycles (It's hosted with LaughingSquid) and they dinged us with a $54 bill due to the one day of cycling (barely a day, noted the problem and stopped the logo). I'm a little concerned to restart the theme (I disabled as LaughingSquid couldn't prove that it had stopped cycling over 500 even with the logo off.) I'm willing to re-try as I think the theme is great and I haven't seen anyone else complain about the cycling. But I'm concerned as it may cost me another $60 as they seem to immediately charge even for less than a day of cycling. Any suggestions? It's for a site I'm creating for a volunteer organization (www.scottsimser.ca). What are the "normal" cycles for your theme? They said it was causing incredible errors due to the logo: WordPress database error for query Select * from wp_em_main made by require_once, do_action, call_user_func_array, eventify->options_panel

If you can reassure me that your theme tested on other sites cycles at much less than 50 or 10 a day, I'll restart it. As we are a volunteer agency with limited funds we can't afford the extra cost.

Thanks,

sam
