I'd really like to try and sort it out. I feel I might be missing something. I could email you the details to log into my site and you can have a look through the settings maybe? I now also have a nasty little blue question mark icon where the loader should be :-(

Thanks for this. It's not repeating at the moment as I have set the reading settings to display every post. The issue is that when I set the number to a low number to allow the loading device to function it repeats the posts... I have left it set as the former which will be what you saw.

I'v just had a look at your site and it appears from my end that I'm NOT getting repeating posts.

- Check your browser cache, may have been an issue which has resolved itself. Also if you have a Wordpress Cache plugin clear this before you disable the plugin.

Sorry, I'm really not sure what the issue is. I'm unable to recreate this and I haven't had any other buyers have this issue, so I can only conclude it has to do with the way your site/hosting/permissions are setup.

Have you tried setting the reading option to something like "5" and see if it loads posts that way?

Awesome.

Currently there isn't a single large image option as the site was built with multiple images in mind.

Regarding the infinite scroll, it looks like you have some plugins installed that are loading various scripts. Try deactivating these plugins (except OptionTree) and see if that fixes the issue...

Great, thanks for helping. Think I'm getting there!

Type colour sorted!

Images and post layout are sorted... I now have the awesome job of resourcing all images and uploading them as I'm working with an uploaded blog!! 1 question, it possible to just display 1 large image spanning both columns?

The only thing still not working is the infinate scroll. I altered the number of display posts to 10 (I have about 50 on my blog so far) and it basically repeats the same 10 posts over and over again. I think this issue might have been raised before. Something to do with Wordpress 3.0 I've just upgraded to 3.2

Any thoughts?

1. In the custom css section of the theme options, add the following...

#dropmenu > li > a {color:#fff;}

2. What do you have your reading settings set to display? If the number is higher than the number of posts you have, you won't see a loading effect.

3. The single post gallery is automatically generated based on the images uploaded to that post. You don't need to insert images into the post, just upload them. Again, you need to upload the images from that specific post (the system looks for images attached to that post).

Hi there,

Right I have spent the evening tinkering and I think I'm making progress. Ignore the above. I now have the following outstanding issues:

• Managed to change the header colour in the CSS but I see all type colour is programmed to be the same. I need my menu type (that sits on the header) to be white and the rest blue to match my header. How do I do this in the CSS?

• Homepage is now displaying all posts but just as one long feed it doesn't do the 'loading' action. This was working at one point but appears to not be now. I was using a different theme before that required a static home page so it is set to this in the reading panel, i tried switching to 'latest posts' but it displays nothing.

• I still have the issue of the 1 column grid layout. Just to be clear this is the sub page layout where your full blog post and all images are displayed, supposedly left hand column text and 2 right hand columns of images. Mine is all in 1 long left hand column with a huge blank space and empty 2 columns to the right.

Hope this makes sense. Would love to get some help with these issues as then my site should be up and running... bar the portfolio! I'm saving the difficult bit for last!

Cheers,

Emma

Hi there,

Thanks for the help. Thats great. Good diea on the transparent background. Rookie error! I will look into the CSS to change the background colour but may need some guidance as I have never ventured into CSS. I'll give it a crack tonight.

Thanks for the advice re the single column. I think it must be an error as I only ever have 1 column with images at the bottom and I have viewed on 2 diff comps. I will try deacctivating plug ins.

Also, on my homepage. For some reason it only loads 9 posts and then repeats the same ones even thought there are over 50 loaded correctly into my blog roll. Any thoughts?

@jaketame Thanks for helping out :-)

@longwhitecloud

If you're using a transparent logo like jaketame suggested, but it's still white, you can change the background in the CSS. Just locate #header and change the background declaration.

Regarding the single column, if you're using a standard resolution screen (like jaketame suggested), but you still see a single column, it sounds like you have a javascript error preventing the grid effect from running. More often than not this is caused from plugin errors. Try deactivating plugins one-by-one (except the OptionTree plugin) to see if that fixes the issue.

Hi Emma,

I would suggest changing your logo background colour to transparent.... If your using Photoshop just delete the background layer and save as .png then re-upload the logo.

With the posts it really depends on what screen resolution you are using. I am seeing 3 columns at work and will see 4/5 columns at home.

Unless you are looking and the Blog page which is meant to show as 1 column with images on the right hand side.

Hi there,

Great theme. A couple of questions.

Is it possible to have a block colour bar for the header so as to accommodate a white logo.

Also my posts are currently laid out in one column. Is there a way to spread across 2 or 3 columns so the layout fits the page better like on the preview example.

Thanks,
