Thank you so much for the prompt replies and I really do apologise if I am annoying you - I really like the theme, but since installing haven't been able to get anywhere near the demo. The footer is kind of the least of my worries at the moment - if you look at the site (I am sure you are busy so sorry for the annoyance) at http://www.companytalk.com.au, it doesn't even display right - I haven't altered the styles except importing your dummy xml.

Have I just missed something really simple?

Yup, just like daniel said :-)

Also, there is a footer widget you can use on the widgets page. Just navigate to "appearance" > "widgets"

The footer actually is controlled by widgets.

What you can do for example, is to create a page with the content you want to appear on the footer. Than write down the page ID and go University Options, there you will find "Page ID for Footer Content:" fill up with the page ID that you created. Now just save it and reload the page.

1) Be sure you're using the full HEX code, including the "#". Let me know if you have questions about that.

2) The footer requires that you specify a page ID# and footer widget to fill that space. Let me know if you have any questions about that.

Regarding PHP short tags, I didn't use any in the theme files, but it's possible there are some in the core WordPress files. I'm not sure. All I know is that I don't use them ;-)

I just found out that you coded with php short tags. :-) I would recommend not to use this, since some servers policies just work with normal tags. But anyway, the problem was solved.

1) I just purchased your theme. I am getting in trouble here since I cannot change the primary colour. Whatever I put in the field, the default grey doesn't change.

2) Where is that big and beautiful footer? Even with a new fresh installation and after populate content with your dummy xml, I cannot see the footer.

Please help me with this issues.
