Glad you like the theme!

Not sure what the first line in the above code is. Also, is your domain "s.wordpress.org"? Just to make sure, I pasted the favicon walk-through from my WordPress forums below.

Create an image that is 16 pixels by 16 pixels.

Save the image as "favicon.ico" (Photoshop requires this plugin to save images as ICO files).

Upload the file to your root directory.

In the header.php file of your WordPress theme, add the following in the <head> section: <link rel="icon" href="http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />

Thanks for the previous assistance. You go far beyond what you get for a 'theme' purchase. My company will be 'buying' you a coffee when we finally get this thing up and running! Nearly there - I am on a deadline!

I have copied and pasted some code from the WP forums into the Header.php to get our favicon to appear but no luck. Obviously something wrong. This is what I have in there under </head> as advised;

link rel="shortcut icon" href=http://s.wordpress.org/favicon" type="image/vnd.>
<link rel="icon" href='http://s.wordpress.org/favicon.ico" type='image/x-ico"/>

There is some code above this in header.php that mentions favicon also, do I have to do something with it?

Also it mentions on the wp forum about copying the favicon folder to your themes folder and then another copy to the main directory of the site. I have copied the zip folder and pasted into the chameleon folder, is this what they mean. Do you have to also upload the image in the media library?

Thought this little cool thing would not be so hard and was trying to impress my boss with a little extra feature to the site but hasn't been so easy so far.

Sorry for all the questions I am posting to your forum.

Thanks once again.
Amanda
