You can use the "Custom Marker Image URL" field in your posts to create a specific marker per location. What I would suggest is to organize your post locations by Categories, then apply the same custom marker to each post in the Category.

Is it possible to display different markers that represent different types of locations and then when one of those markers is clicked it only shows that type on the map? Is this built in at all?
