Try this in your Custom CSS box...

select {
	width:170px;
	margin:5px 0 0 0;
	background: rgba(255,255,255,.35);
	box-shadow: 0 1px 1px rgba(0,0,0,.2);
	border:none;
	border-bottom: 1px solid #fff;
	border-radius: 10px;
	padding: 8px;
}

Actually drop-down term confused. I meant the item/menu below the telephone field in the form of Volunteer page. Title of the field is “I am interested in:. It has 5 or 6 options.

Hi Chris,

It styled the telephone field, but not the drop-down menu. I tried to replace tel by select menu-445 but there seems more change needed.

Regarding child themes, that isn't something a theme does or does not support. Child themes are themes that use files from existing themes. So in that respect, every theme "supports" child themes in that every theme has files that a child theme can use.

That said, there are limitations with using child themes. You can learn more about that here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

Hi Chris,

I am using Contact Form 7. I added a telephone filed however, it seems requiring styling. Am I seeing right or missing something?

Secondly, does Politico supports Child Theme?
