One last Q on this topic - is there a way to vary the font size on per panel or per page basis? E.g. if I set the overall font size to be 36px, can I change it to, say, 18px? Assuming it can be done via a <p style...> tag within the Page text editor, but wanted to confirm it won't break Panels.

Hi there,

It's always recommended to use real text over images if the images are showing text only. You should be fine using Helvetica as it's installed on all Mac computers.

Thanks for the quick response. Was planning on using Helvetica Neue, but if too complicated would default to Helvetica. Is there a font plugin you would recommend for Panels? Since Panels is such a minimalist theme, I can deliver the entire message using pngs/jpgs. But concerned about SEO as I am no expert in this area. If I entered the correct text for all images, would search engines pick that up just the same as regular text? Just don't know how well Panels performs in this respect. Thanks again -- Bill

Hi there,

You can use the Custom CSS section in the theme customizer to change the fonts for all panels/pages. Please keep in mind that changing the font type requires a plugin (unless you're using basic fonts like NY Times, etc).

You can add something like the following to your cusotomizer...

* {font-family:"arial",sans-serif;}

p {font-size:14px;}
