Add the following to the custom CSS section of your theme options panel (I don't recommend editing the stylesheet directly)...

.sliderDate,
.flex-direction-nav li a {background: #FFCC66;}

I am trying to change the text background on the homepage slider from black to something oragne/yellow. I have made inserted the color code to this piece of code in styleCSS. But didn't change anything and it remains as black. Can you please tell me what I have done wrong?
