Add the following to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

#bottomBar #socialbuttons {display:none;}
#copyright {text-align:center;}

Got it! Is there a way to center-align that footer text? And possibly remove the RSS link on the bottom-right of the website?

I did it, but I might have done it incorrectly, or it didn't work.

I put it all in between:

<div id="HERE'S WHERE I PASTED IT">&copy

It just made my footer text larger font, but didn't put the text I wanted. :\

Sorry, I thought you meant you found the text and know where it is. You'll want to put it inside the copyright div...

Where do I replace the text? Like, actually put up the text I want to use.

Add the following to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page...

#bottomBar {height:auto;}
#bottomBar #copyright {padding:20px 0;}

You should now be able to replace the footer text with what you have above.

Hello! My website is http://www.crmsband.com.

I have located the footer information in footer.php, but I want to remove everything that says copyright, and change it to this instead:

"This web site is maintained by the Canyon Ridge MS Band and is not a part of Canyon Ridge MS or the Leander Independent School District. Neither Canyon Ridge MS nor Leander ISD is responsible for the content of this web site or the content of links external to this web site."

(It's a school website, so it needs this special school jargon.)

Any help would be appreciated!
