Hi there,

With the menu, there is a finite amount of horizontal space, so if you experience stacking, I suggest the following:

1. Try using shorter names for menu items if possible.

2. If the issue is related to the main menu, try combining menu items into a drop down menu item.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris and ernezt,
The fix for the logo centering worked out fine. But how did you address the navigation part not stacking up on mobile view?

I seem to have found the css that changes this:

/*--COVER STUFF--*/
#cover {
position:fixed;
top:0;
left:0;
right:0;
bottom:0;
z-index:0;
background:none;
/*min-width:500px;*/
}

The answer being removing the min-width :)

I'm not sure this will adversely affect the presentation of this element in some other way, but looks to be ok now!

Hi Chris,

I understand the theme was not built to be responsive. The demo site shows this behavior as well though (see http://lafoule.nl/maitred.png and http://lafoule.nl/maitred2.png).

Apparently the logoContainer and coverContent divs are styled in such a way that the one scales down and the other does not.

Since i'm a backend developer myself, i think i might be able to modify the theme so this doesn't occur. I was just hoping you might have some pointers about where to start, as my frontend skills are a bit rusty ;).

Cheers,
Ernst

Hi there,

Please keep in mind this is not a responsive theme. It's built to display the normal site on mobile devices.

If you look at the demo site, the menu page doesn't zoom in like yours does, so I'm thinking the behavior you see is due to something specific to your setup.

Try deactivating additional plugins you have installed and let me know if that changes the menu behavior at all.

Best,

Chris

Hi,

First of all, thanks for this great theme! This is the site i'm building with it : http://lafoule.nl

I am having an issue with the home info / logo section. When i drag my browser window to a small horizontal size, the image and text do not scale correctly on the menu page only (the image and text "fall off" the right side of the screen"). This effect is constantly visible on my phone, because of the limited horizontal resolution.

On the other pages the same section scales gracefully.

I see the css and html are different for this page. Could you maybe direct me to the right setting to make this scaling work on the menu page?

Regards,
Ernst
