For increasing the width, be sure you're also updating the "max-width" value, which will override whatever you set for the standard "width" value.

I found this article which says the margin needs to be half the width.

It works when reducing the width, but not for increasing the width.

Font size works when increasing, but not text box width.

Are there any other rules to make this work pls?

The only values that affect changes are the font size and "left: 50%".

Changing "left: 50%" to "left: 30%" looks good on the left side.

But no other value seems to make the text box wider so that the spacing is the same on the right side.

How can I change these values so that the spacing is equal on both sides pls?

Here is the current CSS styling for the page content area...

}

You can copy/paste that into the Custom CSS box and make edits there.

Regarding my previous post, I found the search function.

Regarding the Center Text Page Template, how can I increase the width of the text-box to something more like 3 fifths instead of 1 third pls?

At the moment, the text-box is limited to such a small dimension in the center of the screen. Usually, text is displayed with larger width attributes.

As far as I know, text-box widths don't affect responsiveness. Perhaps some script?
