You bet!

I know what you mean. Some of those plugins are pretty intense all by themselves, so it's next to impossible to offer support for them.

Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the quick response and for the info on Role Scoper! I think I will give that one a shot. I don't know much on the coding side and how the one was conflicting with the theme seemed way over my head. I will head over to the role scoper forum if I run into any problems :-). Again thanks for your time and for your patience with someone who just knows enough to tinker around.

Thanks for the nice feedback!

I've used Role Scoper with this theme and it worked very well. It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get familiar with it, it's very effective.

In general, if you have issues with plugins, I highly recommend using the proper support channels for that plugin in particular. You're likely to have better results. I've contacted plugin developers a few times and they've been more than willing to address issues users are having with their plugin.

Thanks for posting!

First of all I want to say thanks for creating such an awesome theme!

Here is my problem...

I am trying to set up a couple of users to access and maintain the website. I really wanted to make it possible so that the preacher is the only one that can post under the pastor's blog category. So I downloaded the plug-in capa protect.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/capa/

It works great in restricting different users to different categories, but I run into a problem when I allow anonymous users (average joes to the website) access to see everything on the site. What it does is it posts the "I'm New" and the "Featured" up in the title bar. Kind of like how it does before you go into the settings that you created where you can hide those categories. It seems like it is overriding your settings to hide them. Does that make sense? Do you know of a work around or possibly another plug-in that will do what I am looking for without interfering with the wordpress theme? Let me know if that makes sense or if I am off my rocker. Thanks!
