Hi there,

URLs are 100% generated by WordPress. The theme doesn't have any control over URL structure, 404 redirects or anything like that. Unfortunately issues like this go beyond the basic level of support I provide as it doesn't have anything to do with the the code that I wrote to create the theme.

My best suggestion is to search the WordPress support forums and/or contact your hosting provider (they might be able to overwrite URL-based issues) as there is nothing theme-based I can do for you.

Hello Chris,

I have this weird issue ...

It happens only when I activate URL rewriting, only on this scenario:

On my site, I use a menu item (references) which is links to category. So far so good.

In this category, I have 3 posts (default format) that are in that category (references).

When URL rewritng is OFF, everything's fine, I see the category, I can then click on each post to see it's contents.

When URL rewriting is ON, I can land in the category to see the posts previews, but when I click on any of the posts, I am redirected to a 404 page.

This has obvisously something to do with the friendly URLS, but I would need your help to sort it out? Our site is ready to go live, so if you want the access, I'll be happy to provide.
