You bet! :-)

If you're enjoying the theme, PLEASE don't forget to rate it on your downloads page on ThemeForest. Positive ratings REALLY help me out.

Thanks!

Hi there,

WordPress doesn't provide editor access for all files. To edit the custom.js file, you'll need to login via FTP or use your host providers cPanel to access/edit files (they should have a way to do this for you).

Another way is to edit the theme files on your machine and then upload the theme again.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris,

I'm a little css illiterate - the only part of the theme I can see to edit in the dashboard is the style.css page, and that phrase doesn't appear there. Do I have to edit a file and upload to wordpress?

Sorry to be a pain!

- Jason

Gotcha! Great explanation of the issue you have :-)

Try this... open custom.js and change the following on line 494 from this...

responsive();

...to this...

responsive();
jQuery('.current-menu-parent > a').click();

What this does is click the blue box for any menu item that is the current parent of the page you're viewing.

Let me know if that works for you.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Our site's actually password protected - we're an animation company and your theme provided an ideal resource for locating and previewing design thumbnails in an intuitive way.
The issue in more detail is this (I'll use recipe examples rather than animation assets, for sake of clarity): say there's a category on the left called 'main courses' with a little blue box beside it indicating it's a parent category, which - when clicked - creates drop-down option for 'asian dishes', which also has its own little blue box. When *that* is clicked it drops down a bunch of names of types of asian dishes.
Currently we get to this last subcategory, click on the last option (let's call it 'szechuan') and when we're taken to that link, all of the expanded categories on the left have collapsed. It creates a bit of a headache if you're browsing through asian dishes, looking for the right one.

Is there a cache we can apply to the categories so this doesn't happen?

Best,
Jason

Hi there,

I'm not sure I understand what you mean about subcategories collapsing. Can you provide a link to your site? I'll check it out.

Best,

Also, currently the header takes up an inordinately large amount of space. Is there some code I can tweak so it's less tall?

There is a small annoying thing with the subcategories collapsing after page refrest. It's not that big a deal in my shorter sections, but some of my categories have many items and are several links deep.

Is there a way to apply a cache to the category sidebar?
