Hi there,

All map options available are on the customize page (appearance > customize > map settings). You can control the category zoom level there.

Regarding the map position, that is determined by the last published post.

how can i setup a different category zoom level and map position?

in a former post, there are a coding instruction, but the actually code is different and don't support the tips
