Hi there,

Unfortunately the header image feature of WordPress does not support the ability to customize for individual categories.

I have the same problem. Unfortunately, I WILL NOT be able to create individual pages like @jayandrewroebuck. Is there a way to have a set featured image on each category page?

Is it possible to show different featured images for categories. Our site is setup where the menu is made up of categories instead pf pages and those category pages are populated with posts. I see how to change the featured image on each page that we design but no where to define the category featured image. I installed category Featured image plugin, but the featured image is being ignored and the main slideshow continues to show on all category pages.
