Hi there,

This should be the link to your blog category: http://www.nomadog.com/category/blog

It's redirecting to http://www.nomadog.com/home == Looks like you have an issue with your URL structure. Unfortunately that isn't a theme-related issue I can help with. My best suggestion is to either contact your hosting provider or use the WordPress forums to search for a solution.

Sorry I can't be more help.

Best,

Chris

Hi there,

The "blog" item in your menu is a page, not a category. Be sure you create a blog category with posts and add the category link (not the page link) to the menu. You don't have to create a page titled "blog".

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris, Thanks for the quick response. It's http://www.Nomadog.com. I'm not sure if this caused the problem, but I deleted the Blog page and created a new one. The permalink changed to blog_2 and I can't edit it.

Hi Chris,
I ran into the same problem and I followed the steps. Created a blog category for the post and made sure blog category was "blog". My new post is not making it to the blog page

Hi there,

1. Yes, you need to create a blog category (i.e. "Blog", "News" or "Updates" for example) and assign a post to that category.

2. On the customize page (appearance > customize), you can assign the blog category under the general settings tab.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Have the same problem. Would You be so kind to be bit more detailed:
1. must create new _post_ in desired category, right?
2. how/where to assign as the blog?

Thanks ahead,

Hi there,

Be sure to have a blog category assigned on the customize page. If you don't have one, you'll need to create one, add a dummy post and assign it as the blog on the customize page (WordPress requires a post be published to a category before you can select it on the customize page).

This is required because the theme needs to know if it should be treating the category page as a map listing or as a post listing.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hello. When I click on a category in the menu to which I have assigned posts, the main content div (like where you have China, North America etc. on your example site) is collapsed and has no content in it. H3, entry etc are not displaying. This info shows up for pages and for individual posts but not categories. Thanks!
