Hi, you can either crop your image offline and re-upload it to Wordpress, then replace it as the "Featured Image" of that post. Or, you can go to the Media Gallery and use the "Crop" feature, seen here in this YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6pYX2cLVzk. Once updated, click Save, and the image should be corrected on your site. It appears that carousel images should now be 178x78, rather than 178x144, which the original theme is setup for.
