Hi there,

To remove images, they need to be deleted from the media library. If you want to apply them to a different post, you'll need to re-upload them FROM the new post edit page.

Hi there,

If the image is showing in the post content, it sounds like you're clicking the "insert into post" button. Do not do this. After the image uploads, close the pop-up window. The image is attached to the post and will display in the slider.

Images that you upload FROM THE POST EDIT PAGE (via the "add media" button) get "attached" to the post and are displayed in the slider gallery you're referring to.

Putting images in the content area of the post does not mean the image is "attached" to the post (they must be uploaded from the POST EDIT SCREEN).

I did it for both cases.

So, maybe the best question to ask you is (refering to your FAQ) :

What's concretely the difference between "simply upload images to the post" and "simply use the "Media Upload" page" cause i don't see any diferences as result.
I have to ways to insert pics to post (i don't speack about featured image) : "upload media" icon and "insert into post"/( i use tinymce advanced)

For both of those path, i always have image inside the post, not on the top of the post ass your demo.
If in my link you see images on the top of the post as your demo, is siply because when i change the featured image, SOMETIMES, it appears on the top of the post, sometimes not.

If you can help me a little it could be great

I still didn't find how it works..images goes and disapaerd when they want...
Sometimes with the old images i had put it makes the "mini slideshow"on the top of the post (see my attached screenshot), but sometimes, no.
It depend of the moods of the gods...

I think i am going to broke my laptop'screen soon.. i can't figure how but since a short time my highlighted image of a post doesn't show up w
after you clicked on it ; the post appeard without the picture on the top..
But in the category page, you can see this image on the top of the extract of the post..

Worst than that, it was properly worked at the beguinning, now it just doens't want...
I installed wp super cache, removed my image and cache stuff in google...

i just don't f***** understand...
i can't show you the link cause its early building, but could you explain how do you build properly the pictures on the top of the post( i looked the FAQ but it doen't help me)
i saw that's the very simple feature in the wordpress post parameters, but why for god seek i always found those kind of issue for simple customisation .....
