Regarding the contact form error, that's normal. Since that's a plugin (Contact Form 7), the demo file can't import that stuff.

Regarding the calendar and slider, be sure to specify the appropriate categories to use in the theme options (appearance > customize).

Much better! The pages and events loaded this time. It didn't quite work right out the gate but I was able to get it going. There's a lot of errors though. There's no contact form on the contact page, the slider on the homepage doesn't work, and on the calendar where it says "events/concerts/movies/" etc... doesn't stay in the black bar. Just the word "/events" is there and the rest has dropped into the calendar dates. It's weird.

I can’t for the life of me get this set-up like the example. I followed the instructions on your youtube video, imported the demo_content.xml file and it doesn’t set up. It downloads all the media (images), but there aren’t any new pages besides the one “sample page”. And no pots besides “Hello world!” I’ve uninstalled everything and reinstalled and still no dice.

I was hoping to see how everything was set-up and then edit from there, because I can’t figure out at all how to make any of the pages in the demo. (contact, submit event, etc.. Not a single page)

Would really appreciate some help. Thank you!
