Hi there,

No, none of my themes are plugin-dependent. The theme does not come with plugins installed/active. Only what you manually install/activate would be the plugins you need to review.

Hope that helps!

Best,

Christopher

Hi Christopher --

Thanks! I know how to view/deactivate plug-ins -- my question was did the theme come installed with any plug-ins that should remain active? I just don't want to deactivate something that is intended to be active to make the theme function.

Thanks for the quick response!

Haven't made any customizations... I did use an older theme before switching to The Producer, so perhaps that old version came with conflicting plug ins that are still installed.

Could you provide a list of plug-ins that the site uses as a reference for me to see what I need to deactivate?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Thank you for providing links to your site.

At face value this doesn't seem to be a theme-related issue. I took a look and see there's additional markup being added to the image URL. This is not something the theme is doing, so I'm assuming it's either a customization or plugin that is doing this.

Have you made customization to the actual theme files?

My best suggestion is to deactivate plugins you have installed and check it out again.

Let me know if that has any impact on the images.

Best,

Christopher

Hi,

I'm currently remaking my website http://www.exmortisfilms.com using "The Producer" -- and I'm running into some trouble setting the "Featured Image" for all of my pre-existing posts (I was using a different theme for the site in the past).

After purchasing and loading up the new theme, when I use the "set featured image" control on the bottom right hand corner of the post, I'm able to load the image I want, but when I "update" the post and preview it, the image shows up as broken (a dark grey box with a blue question mark icon in the middle). When I click on the broken image, a new window launches that says "We cannot complete this request, remote data was invalid".

Tried to add featured images to a bunch of my posts, using a variety of different images -- but still running into the same issue. Hoping you can help!

Here's a link to my in-progress site:

Here's a link to the post where I've been trying to add a featured image:
