Turns out the problem was the "All-In-One Calendar by Then.ly" plugin that breaks the OptionTree plugin. Temporarily disabling the calendar plugin, updating Theme Options and then re-enabling the calendar plugin worked.

Have you installed any plugins with your theme? If so, try deactivating them one by one to see if that's the issue.

I'm currently using the Dual Slider in wp-politico (great theme) but I want to use the Nivo Slider instead. However in Theme Options when I change the slider from dual to Nivo and save changes it just reverts back to Dual.

Any Ideas?
