When ever I add any widget it distorts the entire layout of the theme for some reason. It shifts the center column all the way to the left and causes my logo and audio player to be centered above it

Hey there,

Have you tried adding the default Search Widget to your sidebar? It should work just fine... to do this, go to Appearance > Widgets > Grab the "Search" widget and drag it to the Live Widgets section. Make sure to name your Widget.

Is there a way to add a search function or widget in this theme?
