Yeah, some tags could be similar between maps (Topics 1)

Topic 1 marker 1 might have March, Australia, maker 2 might have April New Zealand

Topic 2 marker 1 might have March, Argentina, marker 2 might have February New Zealand

Would I need a multisite setup, would this work with that? Would that separate the tags?

If I understand your questions correctly, you should be able to use categories for this.

Regarding tags, if any posts share similar tags, they will be linked together.

I currently have 4 google map html pages on my site with their own markers, data and news.

I was wondering if I could use this theme to set something up very similar and then maybe get a little input on how to do it. The deal is I don't want the data to mix together, each map should have it's own set of data, tags.

I currently have something like http://www.domain.com/topic (lets say topics 1-4)
Each topic has news/blog and individual markers tagged by continent, country, month

Can I set something up like this, were each Topic would be it's own map on the Menu, and the data stays separate, including the related tags, in this case continent?
Home
Topic 1
Blog
Asia
...
South America
Topic 2
Blog
Asia
...
South America
Topic 3
Blog
Asia
...
South America

I'm guessing I have to get the categories setup correctly, but the tags might be an issue?

I hope so cuz this theme rocks!
