			<description><p>well it depends on what you actually want to remove if you just want the 404 stuff gone then yes its obvious line 39 and 40</p>
<p>if you want the whole loop(so it wont display posts even if you have them)  then its line 8-43 though that may break other things and I dont recommend doing that alternatively  if thats what you want its probably a better idea to create a custom page template and use a static home page</p>

			<description><p>I'm seeing that if I don't have a post then I get "404 Not Found" immediately under the slider area.  I can make that go away by adding a post but I'd rather not have anything in that area.  Can this be turned off so that the only items under the slider are the Footer Widgets?  Thanks.
