Yes, any changes will be undone with an update. Be sure to make notes of your edits in case this happens.

If you open "page.php" in the theme files and remove the H2 tag (and it's contents), this will remove the page title (for all pages).

If I create a page with no parent, it appears on the menu bar (underneath the logo). If I then open the page it prints the page name first, I think it is H2.

I would like to be able to remove/hide the title, so when I view the page, it just goes straight into the content with no title. Is that possible?

The 2 reasons I want this are:
1. I have a couple of pages that need a title that is a few words long, but in the menu at the top I would like to keep the title abbreviated.
2. by default the page title comes up as H2, it would be nice to be able to change that to H1, or change the position of the title to the centre of the page etc.
