If you're using the latest version of WordPress, you should be able to use multiple instances of the widget. There should be some options on the calendar settings pages.

If you continue to encounter issues with the plugin, please try the appropriate support channels for that plugin.

I've installed the calendar widget that you recommended and it looks great.

Only question is how do I get the "Upcoming Events" widget to be on the homepage sidebar and other sidebars as well? (page/blog)

When I drag the widget it only gives me one instance to use in one sidebar. Do I need to hardcode it into the others? if so, how?

Also, can you set a maximum number of upcoming events to display?
