Here's what I did to get rid of the calendar icon. Look under FEATURED STUFF in styles.css

find this line and comment it out:

.block small { padding: 0 0 0 20px; background: url(images/icon_calendar.gif) no-repeat 0 center; font-size: 14px; }

like this:
/*--.block small { padding: 0 0 0 20px; background: url(images/icon_calendar.gif) no-repeat 0 center; font-size: 14px; }--*/

This way, if you want to add it back later, you can.

My mistake, I'm getting my themes mixed up.

In the CSS, look for ".block small" and adjust the background/padding.

Just remove all instances of the "calendarPost" div and it's contents from the template files.

My client does not like the little calendar icons and the dates under the featured posts links on the home page. Is there any way to get rid of them?
