Navigate to the Categories page (posts > categories) and you can add categories there. Don't forget to assign the main event category as the parent category too.

You need to create a main event category (i.e. "Events") and create child categories for that (i.e. "Movies", "Concerts", etc.). Then assign the main event category on the Customize page.

Is it possible to make the header names on the top of the calendar different from the categories? Or is this mandatory? Also, please see I have random " / " that shows up on the calendar before Asia and I cannot seem to remove. http://www.yourworldcalendar.com
