Installing the plugins didn't fix the filter issue, though. The children won't display independently, only the parent category will display all events.

Hi there,

I keep reading mention of a plugin I apparently need in order to correct/ activate the filter feature on the main calendar. What is the name of this plugin?

Are there any other plugins that are needed for this theme?
