I'm trying to make a calendar page that displays content from a specific category rather than all categories. Can I do this by making a new page template and adjusting the $eventCat = variable? Can I, for example use $eventCat = "5" or $eventCat = "music" or something like that?

Much less importantly, I'd also like to be able to have calendars for specific time ranges eg one week. Is this possible?

Thanks
