Well, it's working now. Only problem is I'm not really sure why.

Things I tried, and recommend to anyone with a similar problem (in no particular order)
- Updated to the newest version of wordpress
- Deactivated all my plugins, and reenabled one at a time (didn't fix anything for me)
- Added the jetpack by wordpress plugin, then deactivated and deleted it because it broke my custom fonts
- Confirmed that godaddy was not blocking hotlinking of images
- Changed my godaddy FTP username and password...

I literally have no idea how any of this did anything to improve the situation... but it worked! Best of luck to anyone with this issue, if I remember what I did I will post the solution here.

Hi there,

Site looks great!

This doesn't occur on the demo site, so I'm assuming this has something to do with your particular setup.

Try deactivating additional plugins you have installed (except contact form 7 as that's installed on the demo site) and let me know if that has any impact.

Hi All,

My site can be seen at: codeandiron.com (WIP)

I can't seem to get the images to display correctly in the content section of my About, or Portfolio pages.
To reproduce:
1. Load the site from a mobile web browser in portrait orientation (I've tried Android Google Nexus 4 with Chrome and iPhone 4 with Safari)
2. Click on the About menu icon (the wrench)
3. Scroll up and down fully
4. Wait 5-10 seconds
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 a few times
6. Note that the images in the content section of the page have become "broken file" icons with a border box and the alt-text for the image.

I have tried embedding them in both .jpg and .png formats using the "insert media" tool in the Page Editor.
I've copied exactly the format in the Demo content
I am only running Contact Form 7, Google Analytics for Wordpress, and Syntax Highlighter Evolved plugins.
I am also seeing similar behaviour with images in the WP Gallery layout in the "Portfolio" section.
