The theme doesn't use the excerpt content, but takes a certain amount of the content and displays that as the excerpt instead.

Greetings. I am loving this theme right now. My current problem is that I don't seem to have control over the Excerpt for blog posts. I added text into the Excerpt box on the post page, but when I visit the page on my website that is the blog with the blog posts, the excerpt remains the first part of the post, not the custom content that I put in the Excerpt box.

This also appears to be a problem with the Slider text as well, with the text next to the photo simply being the first part of the post, not the summary that I put into the Excerpt box on the Post editor page.
