Hi there,

Have you tried deactivating any additional plugins you have installed and check to see if the category page works like it should? Let me know.

1. There must be an issue with the method you're using to do this. The image on the demo site isn't a background image. It's an actual inline image element. I'm using the columns shortcode to position the image next to the text. I see you're successfully already using this method on your site. I recommend copy/pasting that and changing the text/image.

2. They're loading pretty quick for me, but please review this FAQ thread about speed: http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/faq-why-is-my-site-taking-so-long-to-load

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

I dont believe this has anything to do with customization. I am asking why my blog page shows something which should be on the slider. I have now made a custom link to take the user directly to our tumblr page as a workaround.

I have 2 more questions.

1) I am trying to place a background image on one of my pages (like in your features page *One Page. Unlimited Control*). When I do this the img I want showing up as a background on that section actually shows up as a background image on my slider. Why?

2) I have uploaded 3 total images on to my slider. The first one loads no problem. The other 2 take a VERY long time to load. Even when I change the image to a screen shot so that it is dramatically smaller (in MB) it still takes a very long time.

Thanks for your help.

Hi there,

I understand now. Thanks for clarifying.

Unfortunately that goes a bit beyond the level of support I'm able to provide here in the forums. If it was something I knew off the top of my head I would gladly help, but if it requires a bit of research, testing and custom code then I have to refer you to the customization request form: http://themolitor.com/custom

Hope you understand.

Thanks!

Chris

Of course!

Please visit the url which is below.

If you click on the blog tab you will see below it the text which is actually displayed on the header slider. This is obviously the first issue as that text is no where on the blog page yet only on the slider page.

I would like to import a tumblr account on to this blog section yet it is not working at all. (just mentioning since i Know you do not give support for plugins).

My blog page is currently displaying the text which has been placed in the header (slider) of the main page. I am trying to have a plugin (tumblr importer) actually be showcased in the place of the blog option we have on this theme. I know you do not give support for plugins however I just wanted to mention this incase it helped. The issue however existed before I tried the plugin.

http://host.socialmediasquad.org/trip180/

Thank you for your time and energy and I await your response.
