Hi Chris,
Maybe I need to switch my Projects and News pages to static templates. I'll give that a try. Thanks!

Hi there,

I'm not sure I follow. In the demo site, the "Projects" page has a top panel (with title) and then a second panel (with posts) that is accessible when you scroll. Are you seeing something different?

With the way the theme is currently built, every page has a top, middle and bottom panel. All pages (except when using a static page template) require scrolling to experience the content.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris,
When I click on my News or Projects link in the menu, I am taken to a page with a line of copy on it, and the user must scroll down to see the video or blog post. In your demo these items appear "above the line" and I don't have to scroll down to see the post or video. I love the way your demo works!

Thank you,
Julie

Hi there,

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "top level page". Can you provide more info/detail?

Best,

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the help. I got that much straightened out. Now how do I make the posts appear on the top level page instead of the scrolled down page where the archives should be?

Thanks,
Julie

Hi there,

You need to create a "News" category, not a page. You can then link to the category page in the menu and all posts that have the "News" category assigned will appear on the "News" category page.

Category pages are not the same as a page that you create in WordPress. Category pages are automatically created when you create a category.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Chris

Dear sir,
I don't believe I have touched any of the settings on my blog page within the Producer template, but when I create a new post, it does not show up on my News page the same way your does in the demo. Can you help? What settings should I check? My website address is http://www.firedrakeprod.com if you would like to see how it currently looks. I love the look of the blog on your example and want mine to look the same.

Thank you,
Julie
