This is what the "Continue Reading" button looks like in the markup...

<a class="button continue" href="<?php the_permalink() ?>"><?php _e('Continue Reading','themolitor');?></a>

It's currently on line 21 of archive.php and line 29 of index.php

Hi Chris,

Know this is an old question, but FYI I made this change on both archive.php and index.php (on the current version of politico) and it did allow the full post to be displayed.

Now, to see if I can find the way to remove the "Continue Reading" button! :)

Hi there,

That content is controlled by the theme template files. You can try changing it there. Open up "archive.php" and on line 18 change the the following from this...

the_excerpt();

...to this...

the_content();

I haven't tried this, so let me know if that works well for you.

I have my WP Reading settings for "For each article in a feed, show Full text", but my only summaries are showing. Is there a theme setting I need to change to make the full text show?
