That isn't a theme-feature, so this must be how WordPress is coded to manage that content. Unfortunately support does not include making edits to default WordPress behavior. There may be a plugin that extends/removes the functionality of the description box. My best suggestion is to perform a plugin search using keywords that imply you want to have html control in the description.

but as I say < a href="#" target=" _blank " > when I save become < a href=" # " > (delete only "target code")

on in any case insert all code and no link is active

To have links open in a new window, you need to use something like this...

<a href="http://www.maximaesterna.it/" target="_blank">Maxima</a>

Hi,

I want to put a "_blank ahref" inside the description of a category.... when I save only blank is deleted from code:
Maxima return Maxima

Is it something that depends on the theme or else?
