Hi there,

Oh, you're referring to the loading message? Let's just say it's a good thing if all you see is a flicker. It means your site is loading very quick. Most users will see a loading animation informing them the site is loading. If you want, you can change the white to black by locating the following in style.css on line 25...

html {background: #fff; height: 100%; }

...to this...

html {background: #000; height: 100%; }

Thanks!

Chris

Hi,

i mean the white screen in between the transition. It is just half a second or so but quite noticable. It is also shown in the 'live' example.

Can you tell me where to look for in the code if i want to change this transition behaviour myself?

Hi there,

Thanks for the nice remarks :-)

Unfortunately changes like that are not simple (or in high demand), so you'll need to submit a customization request for these edits: http://themolitor.com/custom

Regarding the flickering, I'm not sure what you mean. Can you provide a link to your site? I'll check it out.

Thanks!

Chris

Hi,
i must say this theme is one of the more beautiful designed photo themes around. But I do have a usability issue with it: The semi-transparant dark (or white) halfsize screen overlay. It goes to the right and back again to the left to often i think. It seems to me that this is a good behaviour when opening images (clicking on a thumb), but know it is moving also when you click in the menu or on the 'read more' button with articles. That is for me but i think also for visitors annoying when it happens so often. Can it be made in a way that it only moves when activating images and not menu-items or read more buttons? A nasty side effect is the flickering (popping) white screen between the transition...Did anyone noticed this?
Maybe i can do this myself or is it something perhaps for an update?

regards,
steven
