Hi Chris,

Any chance you could advise me how to change the colour of the search bar at the top of the page. It might just be by changing a colour setting in the custom style sheet.

Or could I remove the black search bar at the top altogether??

Ok this has kind of solved the problem. I had to make the banner be resized to "large" to enable it to fit in. The banner is straight and centred but there are two problems here.

1. The banner is not completely flush with the menu below it.
2. I originally wanted the banner to stretch 1340 x 210 across the screen but there is something in the right hand margin that is preventing it from stretching over.

Two other customisations I wish to do are.
1. Change the black search bar to be green in colour instead of black
2. Upload a photograph as the background in the margins of the website instead of having a grey margin.

Then you can adjust the size of the banner to fill the entire space.

Its still not working as I would like.

I tried that above and it has fixed the problem somewhat. I need the top of the banner to be flush with the top of the webpage. I have the banner and its 1340 x 210 and its that big in size. I need the banner to stretch out that size ( ie like the full width of the screen) and the menu to appear below the banner.

The spacing issue is caused by the padding applied to "#logo" in the style.css file. Open up "style.css" and change the padding to this...

#logo {padding:8px 0 0;}

I have designed a banner in photoshop and I wish to upload it to the website. However, when I upload the banner to the website it doesnt seem to display properly. Can you give any advice please. I can pm you the website name if necessary.
