Sorry, I was wondering if you are able to unzip other zipped files (in addition to the file from ThemeForest).

This will help me rule out the file from ThemeForest being the problem.

I have tried everything I know. I downloaded the file twice, and tried it on both of my computers (both macs), with three different unzip methods . . . the archive utiltiy (my macs are two different processors, running two different versions of OSx), stuffit expander, and Boma Expander. So then I tried downloading the latest version of stuffit, and it also cannot expand.

I can confirm that the zip file does not contain errors. Have you tried unzipping other zip files to see if it is something to do with your computer/os ?

I would send you an email with the file, but it would be the same thing from ThemeForest.

HELP! I purchased WP Politico today, and successfully downloaded the .zip file, but I can not expand it. I have searched everywhere and no matter what I try and use to expand the .zip file, it comes up with the same error message:

'unable to unarchive "wordpress-politico.zip" into "Desktop" (Error 1- Operation not permitted.)'

I went back to ThemeForest and tried downloading it again, but got the same results.
