Your background appears fine for me. If the issue continues to occur, my first suggestion would be to revert to a default setup of the theme. I see you've done some customizations to the theme, so I would need to rule those out as possible causes first.

Often in Chrome and sometimes in Firefox the background of the theme disappears.
