You can change the speed by opening up custom.js and changing the value on line 259 here...

creditRollSpeed = creditRollHeight /.03;

Adjust the .03 value until you get the desired result.

Just to clarify, the 2nd and 3rd panel areas are not intended to display full-size images like that. Those spaces are meant for pattern-based images with no opacity on top.
