Hi there,

That page is displaying in the blog layout. Make sure you don't have this category selected as the blog category in your theme options. If you don't have a category selected for the blog at all, make sure you create a category to be selected as the blog (even if you're not going to use it).

That should do the trick.

I believe I'm having the same problem.

and hover home > click Paso Robles
I want it to come up with my categorized "Paso Robles" markings on the map, but it just comes up with the posts instead + no map.

How do I get it to come up with the map + have the wineries in the bottom left(like your example) + have a little blurb on Paso Robles like you have pop up about Africa, Asia, etc. on your example.

Long and lat are correct and I have addresses in + zoom of 10

Addresses don't have to be EXACT, so just as close as you can get should be fine. Can you provide a link? I'll check it out.

what if my locations don't have exact addresses? some of my posts have latitude and longitude for places in the wilderness that literally have no address. i've tried inputting dummy info and it doesn't appear to help. any suggestions?

Hey Nick,

I looked at your first 3 posts in your Location Categories and noticed that you only have the Latitude and Longitude information in there! You need to make sure you're including exact addresses as well as your Zoom level.

Please add that to your posts and let me know if it fixes your issue.

Like I said, I only ever see the gray background when a post without map info is in the post Cat. I'll look into it for you though if you provide access.

Tried deleting the whole subdomain along with all the files on the server but still no luck :(

It certainly could... try reverting back to what you did before and lets see if that works.

Had a thought...

Im running wp navigator on a sub domain of my site which isn't using the map feature of the template, wouldn't think it would be but do you think this could cause any issues?

Thanks for the response, I havent added any posts to my site recently and I tried unpublishing the latest posts published but that didnt make a difference.

I havent changed anything for atleast a week now and this issue has come up within the last couple of days which is why im so lost.

Any other ideas?

Hey Nick,

This generally happens when there is a Post in that category without sufficient map information. Please go through your posts in that Cat and make sure they ALL have the correct map info... I'd be willing to guess there is a slight error somewhere.

I've seen this many times before, and that's generally the fix.

Hi,

The map on my site has stopped loading, it shows the loading image then just goes grey: http://www.freightportfinder.com

I have tried deactivating all plugins and this doesn't make a difference, I have also not updated anything (since changing to WP 3.4 - it was still working after update) so im not sure what is causing the problem?

Thought it could be google updating api or something? Any ideas would be much appreciated.
