I had to delete the code you provided to the other user because I lost my background picture on the home page only. It was the strangest thing!

I am still looking for a fix for the backstretch plugin issue on the iPhone.

I just wanted to let you know that I utilized the footer code you offered another user that was having a similar issue with the background image on the iPhone and now my site plays very nice with my iPhone in both Chrome and Safari! Thank you for keeping these forums open to all users! I'm finding fun stuff to help with my minor issues!

Regarding the flash, I think this may be an issue with the full screen background script being used (backstretch - http://srobbin.com/jquery-plugins/backstretch/). I'll look into it, but since it's not my code, I may be limited in the amount of troubleshooting I can do.

The background behind the posters finally populated properly on all devices! Yay! But, I still have an odd page movement and flash of background trying to load on the iPhone. I updated my phone last night, so I know I'm using the most recent iOS.

Please let me know what you figure out about the odd page movement when you can!

I had purchased a different template 2 weeks ago that was expensive, complicated to use and stated that it supported video...it did...but not well! I requested a refund! Your template is awesome!

It looks good but I still have an odd flash on each page...but seeing your demo work on the iPhone, begs for another question...I have a background image loaded for each of my videos...why do they not load behind the poster image on the middle panel,(this is why I was trying to get a texture behind the poster), on my home page on either the laptop or the iPhone, like your test demo?

And please not let us forget that on the iPhone, my title bar does not show the name of my company, I only have a white border around a black box that is a live link to allow refreshing the home page.

BTW, Your live demo on my iPhone5 using both browsers, does not work well! Yes, I see a flash when your demo loads AND the top panel stretches so far down that I have to scroll and scroll and scroll just to see the welcome message, let alone the footer.

Ok, that makes sense but, it tries to load and I see an odd screen jump as the page settles. This happens in both browsers on my iPhone. I wish I could show you!!! I can't get a screen capture of the event!

How does the title bar render on your iPhone? On mine I only have a white border where the name of my company should be. Is there somewhere I can upload a screen capture for you?

Does your site behave differently than the demo? The background doesn't show on the iPhone because it goes into "mobile mode" and displays content in a way that's ideal for mobile devices.

Let me know if it's acting different than the demo site.

I found your other post about the issue and my image is not too large it is 971 X 672. I am not versed in code beyond a little html and am uncomfortable changing code as you had described to the other user.

If that is the only fix, I'll give it a try but I hope you have something else that is easier! Again, thank you.

In both Safari and Chrome on the iPhone5 loaded with current software, I do not have a background image nor a title but a white bar apears on all the top panel on any page. There are some odd jumps where the background image tries to appear but flashes away as I navigate the site.
