I changed the br.png which is the patternimage.

My Question is:
Where can i change (delete) the "pattern-overlay-effect" which appears over the Backround-Image?

Go to Appearance > Theme Options > General > Background URL - this is where you place the URL of your background image.

Where do I edit the background image, or add a background image to the site like in the demo?
