Update: I'm convince. I do NOT know why the updates to style.css weren't showing up, but they do now. SOOOOOOOO SORRY!!

Still need the counter to count.

And, how do I increase the font size on individual pages? (or change font, etc.) I get how to change the font features within the footer, but what about on individual pages without changes ALL pages? Is that possible, or does one have to change all pages using the standard template or the full page template at one time?

Also, one further Q: Is it possible to center the menu heading for the footer widgets?

Thanks again. I know I'm a pain.

Let me add to the above that I've edited style.css and changed the padding items for both the #sidebar and #footerwidgets without having any discernible effect. I also tried to change the font-size in the footerwidgets--if you look at the site, you'll notice the first of the 4 is a custom menu, and its font is tiny. Increasing the font-size from within the #footerwidgets area had no effect either. Phooey, if I may say so.

I read in another forum question that to remove some of the extra space, I should "adjust the padding of #content in style.css." That's fine, but where is it? Plus I'm not too convinced at this point. LOL.

thanks again for any help.

She's baaaaack. My site still has no actual countdown happening. I have just the default option data. My understanding from the write-up was that this would produce a countdown toward Nov. 2, 2012. If that's incorrect, just let me know. Do I have to look elsewhere for an actual counter?

For the second problem, I find in the sidebar that there is a lot of wasted space above and below the RSS widgets I've installed, making the pages longer than they really need to be. There's also a fair amount of wasted space above the footer widgets. How can I change these areas?

On the other hand, the "leave reply" comment form seems to be RIGHT UNDER whatever last item is on a page, leaving no space whatsoever! How do I add a line or two to make this looks a bit better?
