I just went with a plugin for audio, but the audio on all other themes does work all browsers except this one

Works on previous theme fine all mp3 and the elite theme i tested from another theme maker on here, also works on all other wordpress themes I have even the 2013 theme.

So you are saying its not a issue with your theme code when they work on every other updated wordpress theme out there free and elite? Sorry that is not the case it is this theme only mp3s will not work on.

The audio feature is a built-in WordPress feature now. What this means is that theme doesn't have any control over this feature. Any audio players or other audio controls are generated by WordPress, not the theme.

Nothing in the theme should be enabling or preventing the built-in audio feature of WordPress to work. If there's an issue, it's something that needs to be resolved via WordPress as there isn't anything that needs to change within the theme itself. In other words, there is no code that I need to change or edit to make your audio players work.

As you mentioned, the player works in IE but not FireFox, but if you use .ogg it works in FireFox. This sounds like a player issue as the theme (i.e. my code) doesn't generate or control any of that content. It's 100% controlled by WordPress.

I need a resolution here, the theme does not work properly concerning the audio if needed I will be requesting refund through paypal sorry but you are ignoring the issues of your theme as all others work fine after updated to Oscar 3.6 WP release.

$50 may not be much to you but is to me and this $50 was not worth it I have another Elite theme guy on here let me try his first and I wish to buy it all of his theme issue are not hidden away in a forum like yours they are on his theme forest page.

.mp3 seems to be the themes issue just reformated the audio to one, .ogg is working in firefox

If you cannot supply a fix I would like a refund to buy another theme it does work on, seems some of the 3.6 compatible coding was overlooked or not in place to begin with.

I have a huge audio section and this isn't acceptable. Not trying to be rude but I am also a coder not for WP though.

Yes built in wordpress feature since 3.6 and its not wordpress it is theme related your theme is the only one it does not work on.

So can I get a fix or a refund either one please these forums should be public so people can see the theme issues before buying them.

As i said it does not work in firefox only internet explorer which i do not use. It is theme related

The Daily Press doesn't have any built-in audio features, so this isn't something I would be able to troubleshoot for you.

Are you using a plugin for audio? If so, I recommend contacting the developer of the plugin.

Are you using built-in WordPress features for audio? If so, I recommend using the WordPress support forums for more information: http://wordpress.org/support

Note this is in Firefox broswer seems to work in IE but not using that browser ever, I have every codec possible and never had a issue before.

Just bought and switched over last night loads pretty slower than previous gamepress theme I customized for news but otherwise happy.

All my embedded audio does not work any more the player is showing all the links are still right, if you click play on the player nothing happens as for local videos they do work.
